INSPIRING IMPACTFUL CHANGE
At The Play Campaign, we believe in the transformative power of music and its ability to inspire young minds. Founded by Kamau Preston, a musician / Disc Jockey, The nonprofit organization is dedicated to teaching the art of DJing to youth around the globe. Our mission is to empower young people by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to pursue a career in music and the arts.
OUR PROGRAMS
Making a difference
Through workshops, mentorship programs, and community events, we offer hands-on training in DJing, music production, and sound engineering. Our experienced instructors not only teach technical skills but also instill confidence, creativity, and a sense of community among participants. We aim to bridge the gap between passion and profession, helping young individuals carve out their own paths in the music industry.
With a focus on inclusivity and accessibility, The Play Campaign reaches underserved communities, ensuring that every young person, regardless of background, has the opportunity to explore their musical talents. We partner with schools, community centers, and local organizations to create engaging programs that resonate with youth and inspire them to dream big.
